LEAGUE OF IRELAND: ELITE BETTING ADVICE, 10/04

Vincent Mulligan(@Makool), the resident League Of Ireland betting advisor for http://www.scottishfootballtips.com, got off the mark last week with a team goals treble. Nothing so complicated this week as he offers up an odds against single and a low stakes treble that’s not for the faint of heart.

The Louth Derby may not register on the list of Europe’s elite football rivalries, it may not even register on the list of Ireland’s best known but it is worth paying attention to this weekend. Dundalk host Drogheda for the first time in the league since they battered them 7-0 here last season on their march to the title. The leagues’ top scorer this season, David McMillan, bagged a brace as a second half substitute and he will be looking for a similar impact on Friday night.

Dundalk finally dropped points last weekend to a controversial injury time goal in Limerick but at home they still look invincible. I certainly wouldn’t be putting much import on a Drogheda side who have managed just one point and one goal in their last four matches. Dundalk look well set to cover a handicap against their local rivals and I am taking the 2.3(13/10) available on a -2 Asian Handicap. If they win by two the stake returns and any greater winning margin is a winner for us.

Elsewhere there are three games that look setup for draws and I am going to have a shot to nothing at the treble coming in at a little over 35/1 for a small stake.

Recommended bets.
